I met Charles at an investor pitch event a few months back organized by Black Founders and immediately felt a cosmic largeness from him. He’s an entrepreneur and founder of Hactus. He’s a man with very large ambitions and ideas to change the world.

You see that in his left palm? That’s the world and the world is Charles’ play toy. I can count on one hand the number of individuals I have met that simply can’t be contained by society’s constructs. Charles is, for certain, one of them. Now, I don’t want you to get the idea that he’s some crazy loon. He’s actually quite serene.

This grasshopper is enlightened. I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know him through various meet-ups that he has organized to address the issues that face our education system. He is on a crusade for better education and I proudly stand with him on this front. It is a broken institution in this country and it will take truly fearless innovators to fix it. Charles is not a man who’s afraid to challenge out-dated systems. He is fluid and agile in thought and incredibly welcoming and open-hearted. It is my opinion that the world needs him. Of course, if you’re not careful and let him paint the town red, you may end up like this.

Mr. Charles I invite you to come paintballing with me and then we’ll see how you really look afterwards. Of course, I’ll probably look worse. His strategy would probably be to mesmerize me with his astounding knowledge base effectively lulling me into a quasi-stupor and leave me standing bewildered as he walks off to stand behind the protection of a rock and then proceed to blast me repeatedly in the nether regions. I can feel the hurt now.

I always enjoy meeting up with him to have great discussions about how to disrupt the world and build better systems, so that people can be able to maximize their innate potential. Perhaps one day we’ll both put our zany brains together and get on a project together. In the meantime, keep on rockin’ in Awesomeland, Charles. I actually have a notion that he may just be the magnificent grand wizard behind Anonymous. The Wizard of Lulz. This is the wizard’s kingdom…
